space suit

A space robe or space suit is a suit worn to preserve the lives of astronauts. It is made to protect astronauts from difficult weather conditions. In general, the suit is empty, free of air and low temperatures.

The reason to wear space clothes

Astronauts wear special clothing during their air and space flights; Because it provides them with the environment and human protection, it provides them with oxygen and gets rid of carbon dioxide, it preserves temperature as it is because temperatures in space cause blood and human body fluids to boil because of high temperatures, it enables spacemen to see things clearly and allows them to move their bodies easily, and it protects them from external hazards such as the fall of various meteorite stones.

Astronauts' clothing has communications devices with the spacecraft so that the astronaut can talk to his colleagues, and they are equipped with knuckles to match the arms on the spacecraft, space station, or space telescopes.

Types of space clothes

Space clothing varies depending on the region and the manufacturing state. In general, astronauts need a different allowance to enjoy comfort. These include an in-house allowance, including sports, a sleepover, entry and exit to and from the spacecraft, a spacewalk allowance is manufactured.

  • The white EVA space suit used for activities outside the vehicle, is widely used by NASA.
  • The Penguin space suit, invented by the Russian Center for Aviation and Space Medicine, spread to the Soviet Union in the late 1960s, and is frequently used for long space flights where astronauts wear it during their long stay in outer space to prevent harmful external effects and factors.

Note: The Chinese Republic is well known for producing the Space Allowance because it has been a competitor in the attempt to send man to space since 1999, most importantly the FEITAND suit and the ORLAN suit.

Space clothes components

  • A helmet with vision masks that doesn't leak oxygen air.
  • a basic oxygen cylinder, a backup cylinder, and a spacewalk.
  • Bags full of oxygen, which are automatically blown at low atmospheric pressure.
  • A controller that controls movement and rotation through an electronic control arm.
  •  Heavy shoes help balance man, walk in space.
  • Special glove, shirt, light nylon trousers, aluminum, some cotton rubber.
